TAPMI is pleased to receive and triage all referrals for TAPMI partner sites.

The TAPMI Hub at Women's College Hospital

The TAPMI Hub at Women’s College Hospital manages the central referral process to ensure patients get to the right healthcare practitioner the first time. Referrals are triaged by a health professionals at TAPMI-WCH based on the following five criteria:

  • Patient urgency level
  • Patient diagnosis
  • Patient and provider preference
  • Clinic specialization
  • Wait times

Due to high volumes, the TAPMI Pelvic Pain Clinic has temporarily paused accepting new referrals until July 1, 2023, in order to ensure patients receive timely access to quality care.

  • CAMH

    Centre for Addiction and Mental HealthThe Interprofessional Pain and Addiction Recovery Clinic (IPARC) treats a wide-range of chronic pain conditions. They specialize in helping patients who would like to decrease their chronic pain medications. In the IPARC program, patients are given skills and tools to manage their pain.

  • Sinai Health Chronic Pain Program

    Sinai Health Chronic Pain Program The chronic pain program at Sinai Health offers specialty programs including the management of widespread pain and neuropathic pain. The chronic pain program also offers unique programming for craniofacial pain and abdominal pain.

  • St. Michael's

    St. Michael’s HospitalSt. Michael’s Hospital offers interventional therapies as well as a neurostimulation program.

  • UHN

    University Health NetworkThe Chronic Integrated Pain Program (CIPP) at UHN offers management of widespread and neuropathic pain, interventional therapies, neurostimulation and pain management before surgery across three sites.

  • WCH

    Women’s College HospitalWomen’s College Hospital has expertise in interventional pain management. In addition, the TAPMI hub is located at WCH and will be responsible for coordinating central intake and triage as well as providing interdisciplinary health services including self-management, education, counselling and physical therapies for TAPMI patients.
